Use compost tea on your lawn instead of harsh chemical spray treatments.

Compost tea has been used for centuries to enhance plant performance, but it has been only recently that its strong disease suppression characteristics have been recognized.

Most of the organisms delivered to plant leaf surfaces by compost tea will parasitize, antagonize or steal food from disease organisms to the point that they can no longer compete.

Tea that infiltrates into the soil will protect plant roots in much the same way. With the addition of specific components, compost teas can also reduce insect problems.

Making effective tea does require as much attention and care as making good quality compost. Tea made from poorly made compost will not have the strong disease suppression characteristics.

Our compost tea is made from 100% local organic compost.  We take care to use the best compost available and apply the compost tea while it is at its peak.

Our nutrient rich, liquid derivative of compost helps the soil create its own nitrogen, and also adds beneficial bacteria and fungi to the soil for maximum health.

Tea can be applied to leaves, bark or soil. It is best to apply tea from 6 to 9 a.m. Tea can be applied weekly or as needed, but each batch must be use within about 24 hours.
