About Oak Wise Design

Principal designer, John Carroll holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and an Associate of Science Degree in Horticulture. Since 2001 John has served Harvard University in Cambridge, MA as Landscape Designer and Horticulturist.

A native of Cape Cod Massachusetts, John has a true passion for residential landscape design. He has worked in the landscape profession for almost twenty years and has designed gardens for some of the most beautiful New England homes on Cape Cod and in the Andover, MA area.

John’s most recent work with Harvard University has allowed him to design and maintain historic landscapes for one of the most prestigious universities in the world. John’s design influence can be seen throughout the campus as living proof of how dramatically pleasing nature can be when persuaded and nurtured by man.
